Overview

Concert with the Norwegian rock band The Carburetors.

The Carburetors from Oslo have since their debut album in 2004 Pain Is Temporary, Glory Is Forever gained a growing fan base stretching beyond the Norwegian borders and has become well known for their energetic live shows. These leather-clad guys know how to get the crowd going as they are tearing up venues at full throttle. A mix of rough vocals, energetic guitar solos, pyro technics and action from the first drumbeats, leaving a whiff of gasoline and burnt rubber in the air. This is Fast Forward Rock 'n Roll.

In 2010 the band signed with Evil Wheel Records and got a publishing deal with Universal Germany. The album Rock n Roll Forever was released worldwide and has left its mark in the Norwegian Rock history. The single "Burnout" became one of the most heavily rotated video clips on Norwegian television. Today "Burnout" and "Fast Forward Rock 'n' Roll" are both on the soundtrack for the Norwegian movie "Børning 2" (2016).

With a cover spot in Scream Magazine, after the album release Loud Enough to Raise the Dead (only released in Norway in 2006), new doors opened and the band subsequently shared stages with legends such as Mötley Crüe, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Motörhead, and Rose Tattoo.

In 2012 the band participated in the Norwegian semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest with the single "Don’t Touch the Flame". The song is from their latest album release Laughing at the Face of Death (2015), which received great responses from fans and media at home and abroad. So buckle up for another speedy ride this evening.
