Bergen orgelsommer - Bergen International Organ Festival - Paul Wilmot in St. Mary's Church

Paul Wilmot is educated at University College, Oxford. In recent years, he served as organist in Lillehammer, before being appointed Cantor of Gjøvik Church in 2021. He has given solo recitals in Oslo Cathedral and Kristiansand Cathedral, and has collaborated with renowned ensembles such as the BBC Singers and the Trondheim Soloists. Wilmot is widely recognised for his musicianship, stylistic versatility, and expressive architectural sense.

St. Mary's Church is among Norway's most beautiful sacred spaces. The Weimbs organ from 2015 is shaped in perfect harmony with the church interior, where space and sound merge into a single, living whole.
