Disco Belly, Disco Brain

Disco Belly, Disco Brain - a collaboration between Marlene Rom, Emma Jacobsen and Ora The Molecule

"Disco Belly, Disco Brain" is a live performance in the form of a celebration of life on the edge of the diving board - perhaps you are in the middle of the dive, perhaps you are standing at the top of the diving board looking down? What happens to us when the brain and the stomach have become a disco ball playing non-stop all night - that is at least what our dear DJ Ora The Molecule does!

In the process of creating this exhibition Marlene became pregnant and got a disco belly, a molecule in a new universe slowly developing into a human being - Emma got a disco brain and was hospitalised. The exhibition contains works from this time where a person with a brain that is at the disco meets a person who has a baby in their belly dancing all night long - join our disco to the sound of a live concert with none other than Spellemannpris winner Ora The Molecule playing the album Dance Therapy!

We start Friday 16 October at 20:00 - so come ready to dance like no one is watching!
