Egersund
The goal of this trip is definitely worth the effort. The beach Skadbergsand is one of the best places in Egersund to enjoy swimming.
Little can be better than a fresh breeze by the sea on a nice summer day. You will appreciate the refreshing swim that much more after 15 km of cycling. The route goes mainly along paved roads with several stretches of cycling paths.
The bike tour to Skadbergsanden beach
Follow FV44 from the city centre towards the train station in Egersund. Turn left by the station and follow RV42 towards Eigerøy (at the crossing with Gamle Eigerøyveien, take to the left and follow the same street up until you get back to RV42). After crossing the bridge, follow the signs to Skadbergsand up until the sea appears on the left side of the road and turn left when you see a spacious parking place. The bicycle stand is by the main entrance to the beach.
