Chef Tomasz Rochon allows himself to be inspired and excited by the farm's and the district's great produce. In tight
in collaboration with Maitre D' and Sommelier Dagfinn Galdal, elegant dishes are created that are full of flavour
the origin and nature of the raw materials. Boen Gård's kitchen style is modern, but firmly rooted in the classics
French cuisine. The menus follow the season, and are consequently changed continuously. Leftover fruit and vegetables
the time of harvest, is preserved and used on the menus on a later occasion.

Eat like a king
On 21 July 1891, King Oscar II visited Boen Gård. The king was accommodated in the room on the right, which in all hindsight has
went under the name "Kongerrommet". A menu with accompanying wines that included the best of the time
gastronomy was served. Today, this historic and unique menu with a modern twist is offered to guests at Boen
Farm.


With sustainability as a guiding star
At Boen Gård, a lot of time and resources have been invested in recent years to make the kitchen as self-sufficient as possible
absolutely possible when it comes to raw materials. The kitchen at Boen Gård is now 80 percent self-sufficient in greens
season. And of course, everything is organic. Sheep and lambs graze along the river, helping to keep the vegetation in check.
Lamb is on the menu, as is wild salmon of exquisite quality caught by anglers themselves
fishing right in Tovdalselva. Other raw materials are sourced from small local suppliers.

Company, parties and weddings
Freshly ironed white tablecloths, clinking crystal glasses, and the scent of culinary perfection create an atmosphere that sets a
perfect setting for both large and small occasions. The main house offers a number of rooms and lounges, with
the dining room as the central one. Typically up to 20-30 guests are covered here. Larger groups are accommodated in the ballroom, smaller ones
groups get a place in the "cabinet". Both before and after dinner there are two pleasant bars as well as several lounges and
salons at guests' disposal.
