Canyoning is perfect for those who want to feel the adrenaline rush. Canyoning in the Åkrafjord takes place in the Smielva river at Rullestad, and offers a nature experience you'll remember for a long time. The local guide will guide you safely through the course where you will feel both challenged and mastered.
Participants must wear their own shoes, and Åkrafjorden Nature recommends trainers or off-road shoes with a good rubber sole that can withstand water. Remember dry shoes for after the trip. It may be a good idea to wear woollen underwear under your wetsuit.
Åkrafjorden Nature B&B has a wetsuit, climbing harness, helmet and waterproof backpack that you can borrow for the trip.
