Discover the beautiful nordic landscape on foot and gain fascinating insights into Norwegian culture. This week-long guided walking holiday combines moderately graded walking on the beautiful Venabygdsfjellet mountain plateau with cultural visits and experiences.
Experience the silence and beauty of Norwegian nature and discover arctic alpine flora and fauna. Enjoy storytelling over a traditional lunch of local dishes on a visit to our summer farm. Visit Maihaugen outdoor living museum, walk above Gudbrandsdalen on the Pilgrim’s Way and visit Ringebu Stavechurch.

How to get there

By train: Take the train to Ringebu on the Dovre railway line. It's a scenic journey of about two and a half hours from Oslo Gardermoen Airport. Oslo city centre and Lillehammer are on the same rail line. Arrival by express coach: Nettbuss to Ringebu station. Information and timetables at Nettbuss.com. We will pick you up from the railway station in Ringebu if you book this service with us in advance. The transfer time to the hotel from the station is about twenty minutes.
