Gomobu Mountain Lodge

Gomobu Mountain Lodge is a family-owned lodge located at the small mountain village of Vaset. The lodge has 36 cosy, refurbished rooms, reception, ski & bicycle storage and a common sauna. On the compound are 10 well-equipped cabins for 8-10 persons. They feature three bedrooms, private sauna, living room and kitchen.

The area

From the lodge it is a short distance to activities all year round. You have direct access to the coss-country tracks and can also ski to the alpine hill Vaset Skiheiser during winter, and in the summer season hiking trails are just as close. It is possible to paddle a canoe on Lake Vasetvatnet, fish or go wild swimming. The extensive mountain farm roads of the area are great for cycling, with a number of loops to choose from. The famous cycling route Mjølkevegen passes by Gomobu, and the lodge is a Mjølkevegen Partner.

Gomobu has bicycles and ski equipment for rent.

Celebrations

Are you considering visiting the Norwegian mountains to celebrate an anniversary, confirmation, christening or wedding? We have long experience with planning, decorations and meals for various types of celebrations. We have three venue rooms, our dining room can seat 130 guests, the library can seat 30 and the old school house on the compound can seat 60 guests. Our chef has suggestions for menus and drinks.

Courses and conferences

Our three venues Timbra (60 persones), Biblioteket (Library, 30 persons) and Spisesalen (dining room, 130 persons) can accommodate small, medium sized and larger businesses. All of them have technical equipment (speaker phones, projector, transitions etc.). There are pens, markers, paper and flip-over. Free parking and one ev carger.

It is important to us to preserve Gomobu's traddtional heritage. We live to give our guests nature experiences, good food and a friendly, relaxed mountain atmosphere.
