Sarpsborg
Kjerringåsen is the largest down hill skiing area in Østfold.
Here you will find five downhill slopes. The longest slope measures 650 meters and has a decline of 123 meters. Good for snowboarders. Kjerringåsen produces its own snow by using snow canons. From the café you have a fantastic view over the ski area. Food and hot/cold drinks are available. The parking lot is a good starting point for cross country skiing and offers beautiful hiking trails in summer.
