From our centre at Venabu we visit some of Eastern Norway’s most beautiful places: experience the drama of the Rondane massif with its special post-glacial land forms; see wild Musk Ox and climb Snøhetta in Dovre’s land of arctic foxes, alpine plants and permafrost; enjoy Norway’s most famous ridge walk high above Gjende’s turquoise lake in the mythic Jotunheimen. Our experienced leaders will guide you through this landscape sharing their knowledge and expertise to give you deeper insights into this wild landscape and Norwegian culture.

How to get there
By train: Take the train to Ringebu on the Dovre railway line. It's a scenic journey of about two and a half hours from Oslo Gardermoen Airport. Oslo city centre and Lillehammer are on the same rail line. We will pick you up from the railway station in Ringebu if you book this service with us in advance. The transfer time to the hotel from the station is about twenty minutes.
