Welcome to Ona Havstuer - the fishing village with the ocean as its nearest neighbour! Ona is one of Norway's most famous fishing villages, located in the outer reaches of the fjord in the municipality of Sandøy, to the west of Molde. It is a beautiful natural area with an exciting coastal environment. With the ocean as its closest neighbour, Ona is able to offer abundant opportunities for adventures or for anyone who simply wants a bit of peace and quiet. Ona has approx. 30 permanent residents who mainly make their living from ceramics and fishing. We have an old trading site on Ona that consists of a 5 apartments with 11 high-standard rooms (22 beds). Our restaurant also opens when bookings are made. It is the perfect place for working and teambuilding meetings! A quote from the renowned crime writer, Henning Mankell: "There is something dramatic and alive here that attracts me." Ona is an excellent starting point for sea fishing trips on our new fishing boat, the M/S Legona. We provide a local guide who will be able to talk about the history of the island. The island has several ceramics workshops that welcome visitors. Ona is an experience, in both stormy and peaceful weather.
