Osterøy e-bike tour with fjord lunch and RIB return to Bergen

Experience the best of Western Norway on a seamless day trip starting and ending in Bergen city center. This unique tour combines scenic e-biking across Osterøy, fjord-side lunch at Fjærå Sjøhus, and a spectacular RIB fjord safari back to Bergen through the beautiful Osterfjord.

The day begins outside the Tourist Information in Bergen, where you travel by comfortable minibus to the village of Bruvik on Osterøy, Norway's largest inland island. The bus takes about 45 minutes.

After a short introduction to the e-bikes, the guided ride begins through peaceful countryside roads, fjord landscapes, and authentic local communities.

The route continues up Bruvikdalen with fantastic views toward Sørfjorden before entering the historic Kossdalen valley and the iconic Kossdalssvingane hairpin road. Here you will experience dramatic scenery with mountains, forests, and beautiful views over Kossdalsvatnet and Mjøsvågen.

Thanks to the electric assistance, the ride is enjoyable and accessible for most guests, allowing you to focus on the landscape and experience rather than physical effort. Several stops are made along the way for photos, sightseeing, and local storytelling.

The bike ride ends at Fjærå Sjøhus in Mjøsvågen, where a relaxing fjord-side lunch is served surrounded by peaceful maritime scenery and steep Western Norwegian mountains.

After lunch, the adventure continues with a high-speed RIB fjord safari back to Bergen across Osterfjorden. Traveling by sea offers a completely different perspective of the landscape, with fresh sea air, open fjords, and spectacular scenery all the way back to the city center. The boat trip takes around 30 minutes.

Departure/Arrival:

The trip starts with a bus from outside the Tourist Information in Bergen.

Return by boat which docks at the same location.
