Risøy Folkehøyskole is located on a pearl of an island in the beautiful southern archipelago between Risør and Tvedestrand, right in front of Lyngør. We offer rental in the summer to groups who want to enjoy this wonderful place, and can accommodate both large and small groups.
We can offer approx. 300 overnight places distributed in boarding schools and residences, and camp areas that have capacity for approx. 2,000 people in tents / caravans / mobile homes. The island is 550 acres with rocky cliffs, swimming areas, forest and camping areas. We have a sand volleyball court, a climbing wall (outdoors and indoors) and wonderful hiking trails. The gymnasium is suitable for various activities, or as a meeting room for larger groups.
