The cabins at Rjukan Cabin Village are replicas of the first workers' housing built in connection with Norsk Hydro's industrial establishment in the early 1900s.
The houses we have replicated are located in the west of Rjukan and are called Flekkebyen because of the different colors used. Therefore, the cabins at Rjukan Cabin Village are also painted in various colors.
The cabins at Rjukan Cabin Village blend beautifully into Rjukan's environment and form a "village" within the town.
