Stigen Fjordlodge is a unique gem perched high above the Hardangerfjord – stay in a restored farmstead with panoramic views of the fjord, the mighty Rosendal Alps, and the peaks of Uskedalen.

High above the fjord, overlooking the Rosendal Alps and the peaks of Uskedalen, lies Stigen Fjordlodge – a former farmstead from the early 1900s, now transformed into a truly unique accommodation experience.



At Stigen Fjordlodge, you stay in a newly renovated farmhouse offering both comfort and rustic charm – and a view few others can match. Open your window to fresh mountain air, dramatic fjord landscapes, and the calming sounds of nature. Outside, you’ll find a private jacuzzi with fjord views, perhaps Norway’s most spectacular swing hanging from a giant oak tree, and several hammocks tucked between the trees – perfect for a peaceful break in the oak forest with the stunning Hardanger nature all around you.



From the lodge, a marked trail leads down to the fjord, where you’ll discover a small, secluded pebble beach and smooth shoreline rocks – ideal for a swim, a picnic, or simply a quiet moment by the water.
