Streetfood Arendal is located in the old bank building in the heart of Arendal city center. Here you will find a large communal dining area in the middle of the venue, and it is possible to order food from several food concepts under the same roof. You will find the city's best pizza at Streetfood, in addition to several other food concepts. The menu and food concepts change regularly throughout the year.
In addition to the indoor food hall, the restaurant has a cozy backyard with an adjoining bar where there is outdoor seating during the summer months, and which can also be used for various events and summer parties. In July, summer shows are held over several weeks in the backyard.
We want Streetfood to be the place you drop by for a bite to eat after work, but end up staying until the last bus. The goal is to create a casual meeting place where everyone feels welcome, and which is suitable for many types of occasions. The restaurant will offer really good food from all corners of the world, but with local ingredients.
In the bar, you will find exciting options and be tempted to try something new. Streetfood has two stages, one inside the food hall and the other outside in the backyard during the summer months. Here, a varied program is offered throughout the year, with concerts, festivals, theater, stand-up, Pecha Kucha, improv, afterwork, and quiz, among others.

The project was started by theater producer and restaurant owner Rolf Erik Nilsen, who wanted to create a lively place in the old bank building, as a contribution to Arendal's city life. He was joined by Mia Nilsen, who runs Cafe Victor and Sød in Arendal, Margrethe Svinøy, who runs Hotel Arendal in the same building, and Francisca Witsø, who has extensive experience from both hotels and restaurants.
Streetfood Arendal opened in the summer of 2022 and expanded in the summer of 2024 with an 18-hole indoor mini-golf course. The course stretches from one of the old bank vaults in the food hall through the backyard and into Liland's old toy store in Torvgaten. The mini-golf has all rights and follows the restaurant's opening hours. Book a table, mini-golf, or children's birthday party on our online booking. For larger groups, contact us by email.
