Take the gondola to the top of Strandafjellet (1,042 m) and enjoy a stunning 360° view of the fjord and the Sunnmøre Alps.

Bird’s-eye view

The gondola is a popular attraction bort mid summer and in winter with a spectacular view of the region of Sunnmøre. From top of the mountain you can enjoy the panoramic view over the fjord village Stranda, the Storfjord, the Sunnmøre Alps and the UNESCO World Heritage site Geirangerfjord.

Go hiking, skiing or simply enjoy the view

In summer, hiking enthusiasts of all ages will find a great variety of routes in the area by the gondola at Stranda and mount Roaldshorn as a starting- or end point. You can choose from several different trails, or just sit down and enjoy the view from the top. In winter skiing with a fjord view is of course the main activity.

The gondola has easy boarding and disembarking, so this is a trip for everyone regardless of age or physical shape
