The ridge on Gaustatoppen

Telemark Opplevelser would like to offer you the opportunity to see and enjoy the mountain from a different perspective. By avoiding the mainstream going up the most common route, we will guide you via an alternative route up the NW ridge. After gaining some altitude and scrambling some boulders we will get to the ridge. By following the ridge the summit will be in range after some nice passages and scaling boulders. With 1692 meter on one side and 962 on the other makes this trip an exciting and memorable one. During our tour there will be some scrambling and some climbing, nothing that will not be in your ability to fulfil.
