Together with our 45 eager huskies we will travel though the beautiful valleys in our local area and choose an ice cave to visit.

Together with our 45 eager huskies we will travel though the beautiful valleys in our local area. When travelling with the dogs you will get an authentic nature experience where you will get the feeling of being present in the moment. We will drive up the moraine and up to enter one of the many glaciers in Svalbard. According to your ambitions, weather- and snow conditions we choose an ice cave to visit. Here we will give the dogs a well-deserved rest while we will walk from the present to 1500 years back in time, inside the ice cave in the glacier.

We are a small family business where the dogs are not only tourist dogs but have been travelling to the North Pole, running the Iditarod in Alaska; the world longest sled dog race, and have done several expeditions in Svalbard. In our dog yard the passion for the dogs is the motivation, and this passion we want to share with our guests.

We will pick you up by car at your accommodation in town and drive through the historical Adventdalen to our kennel in Bolterdalen. Here you will get what you need of warm clothing (insulated overall, hat, mittens, winter boots and headlamps). You will get all the necessary instruction for safe travel with your dog team. During the trip, we serve a warm lunch, warm drinks, and biscuits inside our igloo or together with the dogs out in the sun. After visiting the ice cave, we will travel back to the dog yard and be back in town again around 16:00.

Minimum age: 12 years, if younger contact us for a custom-made family trip. Contact us directly if you want to book trips with children since we set up an extra guide for these trips.

Weight limit: 110kg per person

Please note that the guide will start picking up guests from the hotels at 09:00 (10:00 on Saturdays and Sundays).
