Arnøy Brygge

This idyllic island offers a great restaurant, traditional accommodation in "rorbu" and have boats and equipments for rent if you like fishing. If you are in Gildeskål, be sure to visit this place.

This beautiful island is located in Gildeskål, west from Bodø.

Arnøy Brygge fishing camp lies at the very end of the island. The facility consists of new buildings, meeting rooms, a restaurant, four rorbuer (traditional, Norwegian housing originally for fishermen) and five large apartments for rent.

The facility keeps a high standard, and is perfect for business trips, large meetings and family vacations.

Accommodation
Rorbu: Every "rorbu" have four bedrooms, eight beds, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
Apartment: We have four different apartments for eight, six, four or two people.

Restaurant
The restaurant is modern, but with a very traditional design. Enjoy your dinner or cup of coffee with the beautiful view over Sandhornøy mountain. Be sure to try the delicious home made cakes while you're here.

Boats
There are 11 boats for rent. If you don't want to go alone, we recommend you to fish with the guides in a guiding boat.

All necessary equipment can be rented: Floating suits, boots and fishing rods.

Shopping
Be sure to visit the facilitys own store, where you can get equipment for fishing, souvenirs and typical kiosk items.

Activities
Arnøy is well suited for all types of events and activities such as fishing, canoeing, hiking, cycling and more. Arnøy Brygge have bicycles and canoes for rent. They also have a hot tub and sauna on site.

How to get here
It is easy to get to Arnøy from Sund with a ferry (you can bring your car) or by expressboat from Bodø. The trip from Bodø takes 30 minutes.
