Our happy dogs and puppies are waiting for you to join the fun experience with them. Complete your winter stay with a visit at Jevningen Farm. Two persons go together on each sledge with 4-6 dogs.
The tour is roughly one hour, and the half way stop, the two of you swap positions. You have to be able to push the sledge and sometimes help the dogs up hills.
We will provide you with warm clothing and we also make time for photo stops and playing with the dogs at your team.
The husky tour will go through a beautiful winter landscape, from pine forest to frozen river. If we are lucky, we will maybe the king of the Norwegian forest – the moose.
After the dog sledding you will come back to the warm and cosy farmhouse that was built in 1910. Here you will be served homemade two course meal with ingredients from our farm (lamb stew or vegetarian dish for the main course). At the arctic ecological farm we have Viking sheeps. Your host will entertain you with storytelling and you will learn about farm life in Northern Norway. There is also possible to buy local homemade products in our little shop.
We, the huskies, and our Viking sheep warmly welcome you to our farm.
Maybe santa will visit us in December!
