Båtstø Camping

Båtstø Camping lies on the east side of Femunden, where the road ends and the nature begins. Here can visitors stay in one of the seven rental cabins, which earlier were old houses from the farm, or set up tent by the shore of the lake. The campsite offers fantastic opportunities for fishing, hiking in the mountains or the forest, as well as cycling trips on quiet forest roads. For those who wish to explore more of the wilderness, the route boat Fæmund II is available for trips to Haugen or Røa, where one can fish in the many waters in Femundsmarka national park. Nearby lies also Gutulia national park, known for its untouched primeval forest and cozy café with waffles. Båtstø Camping has sanitary facilities with shower and washing possibilities, as well as washing machine and dishwashing machine. There is also a cozy function room, Fjøsstuggu, and an old mountain pasture that can be rented out. The place is ideal for tents and caravans, with a fantastic view over Femunden.
