Café Opera

Come rain or sun, Café Opera is a classic choise when you’re going out in Bergen. We’ve got what has to be among the city’s best lunch offer and a good selection of both Norwegian and international main courses and drinks.

It was at Café Opera that the cappuccino first arrived in Bergen some 35 years ago. Since then we’ve always put our pride in making good coffee – and the things that comes with it – at Café Opera. Visit us if you fancy a chai latte, a homemade iced tea or a homemade cake!

Ever since we opened our doors for the first time, Café Opera has been a magnet for the cultural Bergen. We boldly state that Bergen and it’s cultural life wouldn’t have been the same without Opera. Opera has ever since the 90s been known for it’s club scene and we often host different events, either it’s quiz, vernissage, consert, club or debates. Something always happens at Café Opera!

With time Café Opera has become a part of the Bergen identity. You sort of haven’t been in Bergen without visiting us!
