The city train takes you at a leisurely pace on a pleasant tour of Haugesund, which has a unique story to tell about how the city was built on herring and shipping. The city train in Haugesund has guided tours in 8 languages.

The tour starts at the cruise terminal on Risøy. The train travels at a leisurely pace towards the city center and on to Hasseløy, or "Bakarøyna" as it is called. From there, the trip goes north towards Haraldsstøtta where we take a 10-minute break. From there, the train travels towards the city center via the park, down around Smedasundet before heading towards the city's Italian-inspired town hall, which in 2010 was named Norway's finest town hall.

After passing Vår Frelsers church from 1901, the train makes a stop in Kaigata where it is possible to get off the train and take a later train back to the cruise terminal on Risøy.
