The cycle ride from Rørvik to Abelvær, and then with the Express boat back to Rørvik again, has to be one of the most beautiful cycling tours on the Namdal coast. It is only 37 kilometers and ends on beautiful Abelvær.

Starting time: This trip depends on the boat transport back from Abelvær. In the summer season, it means you can do this trip either in the morning by boat - and back in the middle of the day, or in the afternoon with an afternoon boat back. The times vary on weekdays and summer / winter.

The tour starts in Rørvik city center. As you will take the Expressboat back to Rørvik, calculate starting time based on this. Add time to stop along the way and on idyllic Abelvær.

Follow FV 770 out of Rørvik and over the Nærøysund bridge. After about 9 km (signposted to Namsos), turn right on FV 769. Follow for 12 km before turning right at Strandval and onto FV 768 towards Abelvær. Just by Abelvær Farm you find the pier for the Express boat.
