Discover the beauty of the Arctic and the rich culture of the Sami people with reindeer. Starting at Sami Siida in Øvre, Alta, you'll meet your host, a Sami reindeer herder, who will guide you through the Siida area where the Sami have lived for generations. Learn about their heritage, traditions, and the deep connection between the Sami people and the land. End the experience with a cup of hot coffee by the bonfire as your Sami hosts perform joik, the traditional music of their culture. This soothing melody, combined with stories and song, creates a memorable and immersive experience in the heart of the Arctic.
