Golsfjellet Alpinsenter (Skicenter)

Golsfjellet Alpine Center is a family-friendly ski resort. You will find a large children's area with a slalom course, a wave track, and gates here. We have slopes for beginners and more challenging runs for those who seek them. Abundant untouched powder and a park with jumps and rails are also available.

Bualie Mountain Village offers a fantastic view of Tisleifjorden, Nystølsfjella, Jotunheimen, Valdresfjella, and more. We guarantee refreshing fresh air, peace, and tranquility. Bualie was completed and put up for sale in the summer of 2006. Golsfjellet and Bualie are a holiday paradise both in summer and winter, with all possibilities right outside your door.

Golsfjellet has one of Norway's most extensive trail networks for skiing, biking, and hiking. From Bualie, you have immediate access to the trail network and the most beautiful area for cycling. Here, you have proximity to all the facilities Golsfjellet has to offer. You can leave your car until you're ready to head home! Café with delicious homemade treats
At the Åttekanten bar and café, we sell various hot and cold dishes, delicious homemade treats, pancakes, waffles, and hot and cold drinks—all rights reserved. The café and bar are open to everyone. It's a pleasant, warm, and welcoming place. Åttekanten follows the lift's opening hours, but events like the Fall Festival in October are also organized. It's also possible to host private parties here.

Biking and Mountain Cart
Golsfjellet Alpine Center Bualie is a fantastic place for biking, especially with the chairlift that takes cyclists up into the mountains or down the ski center. Biking at Golsfjellet Alpine Center Bualie offers opportunities to experience some of the area's most beautiful natural scenery while enjoying challenging bike trails and exciting terrain.

With the chairlift, you can easily reach the top of the mountain and start your journey on one of the many available bike trails, ranging from easy to more challenging. You can enjoy the breathtaking views of the valley while cycling through the forests and mountains.

In addition to the chairlift, Golsfjellet Alpine Center Bualie has a skills park at the bottom of the slope. Here, you can practice your skills and get a good feel for the bike before venturing onto more challenging trails.

There are also opportunities to rent a Mountain Cart – an exciting three-wheeled alternative for exploring downhill slopes.

Ski in, Ski out

There are varied descents suitable for all levels of skiers. The top station is 1090 meters above sea level, and the longest trail is 1400 meters with a vertical drop of 230 meters. The Alpine Center has 9 different descents, including a dedicated children's area and a terrain park with jumps and rails at various levels.

In 2022, Bualie received a new and modern 6-seater chairlift, increasing capacity and making it easier to navigate the ski resort in winter and summer. They have also established a new skills park for biking that can be used in the summer. With the new chairlift, taking your bike up to higher altitudes is possible.

Ski School and Rental
We offer alpine and snowboard equipment rental for both adults and children. We have beautiful sleds from Fjellpulken, 5 singles, and 1 twin sled, and during holiday periods, we recommend reserving in advance. Our skilled ski instructor offers ski and snowboard instruction for children and beginners. Contact Peter directly at mobile 466 88 007 for booking/availability. Free helmet rental is available as long as supplies last. Prices for the following day do not apply when returning equipment.

Groomed Cross-Country Trails
Golsfjellet has been ranked in the top 3 by Dagens Næringsliv. Check www.skisporet.no for information on where and when cross-country ski trails have been groomed. We provide free ski maps in the café and at the ticket booth. We also rent out excellent sleds from Fjellpulken.

Life and Activity in Gol
Gol offers many different shops where you can find almost everything you need. Gol is only 20 kilometers from Bualie. Gol also has some charming cafes worth a visit, where you can enjoy delicious pastries and good lunches.

Throughout the year, Gol hosts several significant events. Gol Days with the Gol Day Race—Norway's largest autocross race—offers speed and fun. The Sheep Festival, focusing on sheep, provides everything from lamb stew at all eateries to wool products in all varieties.

The Slarverennet is the year's best girls' trip! It is a ski race exclusively for women of all ages and shapes, just for fun! Experience magical nature, freshly groomed ski trails, shopping, music, parties, and fun! Welcome to Gol!

Short Distance to Major Attractions
Every day, we have the pleasure of greeting animals and birds that inhabit Golsfjellet. Golsfjellet is vast in area, with enough space for everyone! This is one of the things we appreciate most up here – the silence, magical mornings, the fox strolling past the cabin, or the little nutcracker regularly visiting the bird feeder. The bird life on Golsfjellet is also fantastic. Since we set up bird feeders, we have met birds we had never seen before. Goldfinches that look like canaries, the incredibly cute Blue Tit with a crest, or the Siberian Jay – related to the Crow but much nicer to have as visitors. Golsfjellet has so much to offer, high up in the mountains, yet close to everything!

The Bear Park in Flå is about 70 kilometers from Bualie. Here, you can see everything from bears to crocodiles. It's definitely worth a visit; set aside the whole day; there is much to see and experience!

Langedrag is also well worth a visit and is about 80 kilometers from Bualie. Set aside the whole day; the experience awaits. Both Ål and Hemsedal offer climbing parks. Here, you can test your fear of heights, challenge your balance, and complete a proper workout! The magical nature of the Hardangervidda and the West Coast is just a short drive away.
