Hankø Fjordhotell & Spa

Just 15 minutes from Fredrikstad and one hour from Oslo lies one of Norway's most beautiful islands – Hankø. The island has brought its historic traditions back to life, dating all the way back to 1877 when Hankø Bad og Kystsanatorium was established. Today, Hankø Hotel & Spa welcomes guests to this car-free island.

The hotel offers 180 beds across 102 rooms in various categories, all overlooking the surrounding nature. Every stay includes access to the spa and fitness facilities, as well as breakfast. In the harbour, near Seilerkroa, guests can also rent a floating sauna with a wood-fired hot tub.

The hotel has extensive conference facilities, including six conference rooms accommodating 24 to 174 participants and five smaller meeting rooms. There is also a multipurpose hall with capacity for up to 500 people in a classroom-style setup, as well as a private chapel for wedding ceremonies.

Additional facilities include a tennis court, football pitch, mini golf and a wide range of activities. The beautiful sandy beach of Trouville is also just a short walk away.

In Husebybukta, the hotel also offers a modern waterfront cabin for rent. Built on stilts above the water, the cabin provides a high standard of accommodation and the opportunity to enjoy a morning swim straight from the terrace. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen with access to the terrace, as well as a private boat berth.
