Starting in the historic city of Bergen, the voyage spans 12 days on a roundtrip and covers 2,500 nautical miles, stretching all the way to Kirkenes in the arctic. Havila Voyages offers more than a traditional cruise experience. It’s an authentic journey combining history, stunning sceneries, and vibrant coastal culture. The ships dock at 34 diverse ports, offering a mix of short and longer stops. Smaller locations provide quick visits of 10 to 45 minutes to load cargo and for embarking and disembarking locals, while larger cities allow more time to explore and to participate in excursions offered at the various ports.
Ports visited at night during the northbound journey can be seen in daylight on the southbound return, giving you the full experience of Norway’s stunning coastal wonders.

New and modern ships
Havila's four new ships, Havila Capella, Havila Castor, Havila Polaris and Havila Pollux are all loaded with the world's largest battery pack. This makes it possible to sail for four hours without noise or emissions through vulnerable fjords.
The onboard menu is set up with locally made dishes from local producers, and all unnecessary plastic is avoided.
