Welcome to Kolstad – accommodation in traditional surroundings on a modern farm!

Stay comfortably in our old farmhouse, which was completely renovated in 2010. The appartements in the main house has a lovely living room, kitchen, spacious bathroom and bedroom at first ground floor. More bedrooms at first floor in both appartements. We can accommodate up to 16 guests, 13 beds and 3 sleeingsofa. Self catering and year-round rental is available. Why not order our delicious breakfast basket? The Eldhus offers basic accommodation for 2 guests and there is an open fireplace. Only available in summertime. Excellent fishing spots on the river, with place for a bonfire.

There’s also a fishing cabin, ideal for frying the day’s catch and enjoying the peaceful tranquillity. You might even hear the splash of the beaver’s tail! It’s about a 700 meter walk from the farm to the river, and some days you might get a lift with the horse and cart. We sell fishing licenses!

There are some excellent walks in the area and it’s only a short distance to the two national parks. This is a child-friendly environment with trampoline and swings. There are cows, sheep, hens, a horse and a cat on the farm.
