With our 'Grab & Run' service, 'take away' pizza, indoor and -outdoor seating the choice is yours, whether you like to sit down and enjoy a cold drink or grab a fresh baguette for your mountain hike.
The location in the Wild Salmon Centre provides easy access when in Lærdal city centre with a large car park outside. The Grab & Run concept with spread sandwiches, other baked goods and ice cream is well suited for those who want to take their food with them, either to Old Lærdalsøyri nearby or further on the popular mountain hike 'The King's road from Kyrkjestølen to Maristova.
In addition to Laksen bakeri & kafé, the premises of the National Wild Salmon Center also house Lærdal Cultural House and Sogn Art Senter. In the Wild Salmon Centre you can take a look at the salmon observatory, while the art center has two exciting exhibitions in the summer of 2021 where you can see works by the local artist Hans Gjesme.
