Lofoten Triathlon Extreme // The Arctic Triple

In the unique surroundings of the Lofoten Islands we are offering you the opportunity to do an amazing race – Lofoten Triathlon. The race is set every year in week 33. Lofoten Triathlon will take place 15th till 18th of August 2019, in the town of Svolvær.

Friday 16th of August the extreme edition of Lofoten Triathlon is on!
4 km swim in the harbor of Svolvær, 196 km bike ride around Vestvågøy, Gimsøy and a short visit to iconic Henningsvær before you return to Svolvær. To finish it all with a bang – 45 km run that ends with 18 km terrain and two mountains and stunning views.

Height gain/loss: 3000 M
Maximum number of particpants: 250 athletes

Many are eager to do all three races – to get an official result you have to complete them all in 12 months.

GOLD – Lofoten Skimo 4000+, Lofoten Ultra-Trail 100 Miles and Lofoten Triathlon Extreme
SILVER – Lofoten Skimo 4000+, Lofoten Ultra-Trail 50 Miles and Lofoten Triathlon Extreme
BRONZE – Lofoten Skimo 1000+, Lofoten Ultra-Trail 24KM and Lofoten Triathlon Olympic+
All races in The Arctic Triple are fully supported – no external support will be allowed.
