Welcome to Norwegian Wild/Camp Tranøybotn

In 2018 Norwegian Wild was born and the wild adventure began!
Hege Enge Dekkerhus and Stig Jarle Dekkerhus packed their bags and moved to Senja to fulfill their dream. The dream was to create unforgettable experiences from the most wonderful place on Earth.

We are a campsite on the adventure island Senja which is open all year with year-round campers, cabin rentals and motorhome pitches. The campsite has its own barbecue hut which can be used by the campsite's guests, nice service houses with shower/WC, kitchen and cooking facilities. In addition, we have a seasonal café and interior design shop. “Hyttekroa” is a cozy and authentic café that is worth a visit. Enjoy a good cup of coffee and a Norwegian waffle, chat with our pleasant co-workers and make sure to stop by our small and cozy shop.

The campsite is beautifully located down by the sea and at the entrance to Ånderdalen National Park, approximately 30 minutes’ drive from Finnsnes. Ånderdalen National Park offers great hiking opportunities for the whole family both summer and winter.
