Røssvoll Senter

Røssvoll Camping offers peaceful surroundings by the Ranelva river, about 13 km north of the town of Mo i Rana. The campsite is a short distance away from attractions such as the Svartisen glacier, Grønligrotta cave, and the naturally-sculpted marble formations called Marmorslottet. If you head into town, the entire family can enjoy a visit to Vitensenter Nordland, a science museum that explores nature, technology and mathematics.

Røssvoll Camping is idyllically situated by the Ranelva river, well shielded from highway E6. For a reasonable price, you can stay in simple cabins. There are also designated spots with power hook-ups if you’re travelling in a caravan or camper, and there are nice places to pitch your tent. Children can enjoy the playground, and ice cream from the campsite’s own convenience store. This store also offers groceries, coffee and a fast food menu. If you want to catch your own dinner, bring your fishing pole and try hooking a fish from shore.

Accommodation
The simple cabins have four bunk beds, a living room, kitchenette and bathroom. You can opt to bring your own linen – the beds have duvets and pillows. There are two adjoining units in each cabin. Guests travelling by caravan or pitching their own tent have access to a shared kitchen and a service facility with showers and toilets.

The campsite is open from mid-May and throughout the summer season.
