Sandnessjøen Camping – Accommodation at the Seven Sisters

Sandnessjøen Camping is situated by the sea in the countryside, a short drive from Sandnessjøen along the Coastal Highway, Fv17. The campsite enjoys a magnificent view of the Seven Sisters mountain range. The trail to its southernmost peak, Breitinden, is only 3 km away.

Cabin, caravan or tent
Cabins are offered in several sizes. Most cabins have a kitchen and bathroom, and some have several bedrooms, making them ideal for families or groups of friends. Simpler cabins are also available, with access to the nearby service building, which has kitchen facilities, showers and toilets.

The cabins, and great spots for pitching your tent, are situated by the woods and the rocky shore, which is excellent for fishing and swimming. Guests also enjoy a beautiful view of the fjord and mountains. Boat rental is available if you wish to go fishing on the fjord.

The campsite has spots with gorgeous views and power hook-ups near the rocky shore for caravans and campers. If you prefer a more sheltered spot, we have those as well. Sandnessjøen camping has facilities for emptying your waste water.

Sights and dining
The friendly hosts at Sandnessjøen Camping will do their utmost to make your stay enjoyable. The campsite is a short walk away from the trailheads to the Seven Sisters mountains. If are travelling by car or bicycle, Petter Dass Museum, which honours Northern Norway’s celebrated 17th-century poet-priest, is quite close. So is the International War Cemetery at Tjøtta. For good dining we recommend Tjøtta Gjestegård. If you reserve a table in advance, dining is also available at the Petter Dass Museum.

Sandnessjøen Camping is located about 1 km south Stokka Airport, and about 12 km from the town centre of Sandnessjøen.
