Welcome to your private lakeside retreat! Experience unique glamping in Vestfold, just a 15-minute drive from Larvik city center and close to the idyllic coastal village of Helgeroa.

After a short 3–4 minute stroll from the parking lot, you arrive at the igloo. It is perfectly placed on a small natural elevation, a few meters above the water, giving you the spectacular feeling of floating above the tarn. You are completely enveloped by tall treetops in a tranquil, gently rolling terrain.

Practical Information about Sustainable Accommodation

The igloo offers a sustainable glamping experience with a minimal ecological footprint and a maximum impression on the soul.

  • Water and Electricity: There is no running water or electricity. We ensure you have 5 liters of drinking water available upon arrival. The igloo uses rechargeable lamps and candlelight.
  • Heating: The wood-burning stove is your heat source during winter, and you have unlimited firewood. The stove will keep you warm even down to -15 degrees Celsius. We recommend a fire watch overnight in the coldest months.

Cooking:

  • A small camping stove (gas is included) is available for cooking (must be used outdoors due to fire hazard).
  • There is also a small hotplate on the wood stove and a few small pots available in the igloo.
  • A fire pit is available during the months it is legal to use. We recommend preparing some meals at home in advance.

Toilet: You have access to a charming outhouse located a short distance from the igloo itself.
