Trollsteinen: Hike crossing the glacier to the peak - Svalbard Wildlife Expeditions

Join the popular summit to the Trollsteinen, 850 m above sea level. Our guide collects the guests from the respective hotels, checks that the guest is well equipped with clothes and footwear before departure. Your worn-in hiking boots with solid soles are recommended due to the rocky terrain.

The trip starts with a hike in a moraine landscape before we cross Larsbreen towards the foot of the mountain. We take several small breaks along the way to enjoy the view - the guide finds the right time and place for lunch. The silence is magical up here, so bring a camera, binoculars, a warm sweater for the breaks and drinking water is smart if you get thirsty.
Groups are often international, so our guiding language is English.

If there's snow in the area, we'll use snow shoes.
