El otoño en Noruega es algo que todo el mundo debería experimentar alguna vez en la vida. Escapa de las grandes aglomeraciones y del estrés diario y disfruta de nuestra naturaleza en el momento en que el paisaje se tiñe de rojo, amarillo y naranja.

Los noruegos se van decantando cada vez más por vivir de forma sostenible y ética con el medio ambiente, así que muchos lugares excitantes y de nueva creación están obteniendo la certificación de destinos sostenibles. El Día Mundial del Turismo —celebrado el 27 de setiembre— el sitio web Verdict seleccionó a Noruega como uno de los diez destinos turísticos más sostenibles del mundo.

1. Una colorida aventura en bicicleta

Te apetece sacar el máximo partido a tu experiencia en Noruega? Alquila una bicicleta y pedalea por algunos de los paisajes más espectaculares del país.

Desde las altas montañas y las pendientes escarpadas a los terrenos llanos en la ciudad, seguro que encuentras una ruta que encaja con tu ritmo e intereses. Durante el otoño, el clima —a menudo— es adecuado para la práctica de la bicicleta, especialmente en el sur de Noruega.

Además de ser una actividad eco-sostenible, andar en bici es una forma ideal de conocer a los lugareños. El interés por la práctica de la bicicleta en Noruega es enorme y muchos noruegos exploran su propio país desde el asiento de la bici.

Y no te preocupes si necesitas un poco de ayuda para llegar a la cima de las colinas. También es fácil y económico alquilar bicis eléctricas en muchos destinos.

2. Acércate a las olas durante tu estancia

3. Sé sostenible también en los museos

¿Te apetece acercarte a la cultura, la herencia y el arte, sin dejar de ser ecológico? No hay problema. Noruega tiene una amplia variedad de museos de primer nivel, muchos de los cuales están certificados como sostenibles y trabajan constantemente para minimizar su impacto en el medio ambiente. Durante el otoño, puedes disfrutar de nuevas y divertidas exposiciones por todo el país.

También deberías visitar algunos de los museos al aire libre para conocer de cerca las esculturas famosas, los edificios más conocidos y los destinos naturales de mayor interés, mientras disfrutas de un aire puro, fresco y sano.

4. Da un memorable paseo en bicicleta

Muchos noruegos desbordan de felicidad cuando pueden ponerse un par de botas resistentes y salir de excursión por la montaña. Y nos encanta compartir los impresionantes parajes de nuestra naturaleza con quienes visitan Noruega.

5. Conquista las paredes de adrenalina

Noruega es famosa por sus montañas majestuosas, acantilados vertiginosos y formaciones rocosas fascinantes. ¿Pero te atreves a conquistar alguna de estas superficies rocosas con tus manos desnudas?

Pocas cosas pueden compararse con la sensación que se experimenta al llegar a la cumbre de una ruta en la montaña. Durante el otoño puedes captar esa sensación en muchos destinos de escalada distintos que hay por todo el país, gracias a las excursiones guiadas para escaladores de todos los niveles. Pero, por favor, ten cuidado y recuerda que la escalada sin un guía especializado, es una actividad reservada para los escaladores altamente experimentados.

Si viajas con niños, o te dan miedo las alturas, hay otras alternativas. Conviértete en Tarzán y Jane por un día y regálate un reto en un parque de escalada al aire libre. Durante los últimos años, se han construido nuevos y modernos parques de escalada.

6. Captura el pez de tus sueños

Tenemos 101.388 kilómetros de costas, 450.000 km de lagos y 332 especies distintas de peces. Si buscas una experiencia auténtica y al aire libre en Noruega, te recomendamos que salgas a pescar.

El otoño ofrece una excelente oportunidad para capturar el pez de tus sueños. El mar está rebosante de bacalao, abadejo y fletán, y el salmón y la trucha te están esperando en uno de los muchos lagos que hay aquí. Todo lo que necesitas es paciencia y un poco de información sobre dónde puedes ir.

Las agencias y operadores desde el sur al norte del país, están listas para darte la bienvenida y que puedas tener la experiencia de pesca más memorable de tu vida.

Prepárate para un clima inestable

Durante el otoño en Noruega, el aire es más frío y seco y el clima se vuelve más húmedo e impredecible.

A partir de setiembre, el clima puede ser muy lluvioso y en las costas se vuelve tormentoso.

Pero no permitas que esto te disuada de visitarnos. En los días soleados, se pueden ver los hermosos colores del otoño y sentir el último abrazo del calor del verano.

Durante el otoño en Noruega, es importante llevar ropa cortavientos e impermeable.
