On this tour you can cycle along the Hardangerfjord on the beautiful 25 km stretch between Herand and Utne.
Your can start this tour from the bus station in Bergen or from the quay in Norheimsund. It is about one minute walk from the bus stop to the boat in Norheimsund.
When arriving in Herad, you are provided with a bicycle, helmet and reflective vest for the trip. You have approx 7 hours at your disposal to cycle the 25 km long stretch between Herand and Utne. Normally this takes about 3 hours, so you have lots of time to explore the beautiful Hardangerfjord.
In Herand make a short stop in this beautiful village with its well preserved cultural landscape and wonderful location. Here you can see rock carvings from the Bronze Age, walk on historical paths, inspect water-driven gate saws, or sample the delicious food at the Meieriet Restaurat. If time, it is also possible to take a swim at the local beach.
5 km before Utne you will arrive to a small village called Lothe. Here you will find a beautiful beach if you would like to take a swim.
In Utne we recommend a stop at Hardanger Museum. Utne is also the only place on your way that has a grocery store.
Should there be an accident or other unforeseen occurrence on the cycle trip, you can call our service telephone on +4797164700. We recommend this trip for children above age 10.
