Join a unique paddling experience on the green river Istra in Romsdalen. Get close to nature as you float down to Åndalsnes on a stand up paddle board (SUP).
Stand up paddle board (SUP) originates from Hawaii, and can now be experienced in Romsdalen from mid-June to the end of August. With your own guide you will find your way down the calm emerald green river Istra. The activity is suitable for anyone with normally good health, who loves water and wants to see the beautiful Romsdal nature from a new angle. This is a nature experience that is worth adding to your bucket list.
If you wish an extra challenge on the trip, your guide will arrange fun activities along the way.
Practical information
Meeting place: Norwegian Tindesenter in Åndalsnes
Minimum age: 12 years. (Smaller children can participate on their parent's paddle board upon agreement. Please contact us regarding this matter as you order your adventure).
Included in the activity: Transport, paddle board (SUP), an authorized SUP guide, wetsuit, wet socks and livest.
Guidance and safety instructions will be given before the trip starts.
Bring along: A small backpack, change of underwear, swimwear, food and drink. It is possible to buy a lunch box at an additional cost.
