Averøy
Stavneset lighthouse is located at the north-east end of Averøya, on Stavneset. An easy walk in a landscape where you have a great view of the sea and the city of Kristiansund. On Sundays during the summer, "Venner av Stavneset" serves coffee and waffles there.
Today, Stavneset lighthouse operates as a cultural and historical tourist attraction. There are several hiking trails to get to and from the lighthouse as well as coffee sale and a gallery on Sundays during the summer season.
Here you get a nice view of the sea and the city of Kristiansund. The path is family-friendly as one of the hiking trails is also suitable for prams. On site you will also find binoculars for a better view, and good fishing and swimming opportunities.
