Bløkallen on Midøya 524 masl offers a fantastic view where it is located between the fjord and the sea.

The first part goes up beautiful stone stairs. The last part is on a normal path. You can also choose a round trip by taking an exciting path up a steep cliff wall. Here there is a chain to hold on to and a steel step for the foot. The trip takes 3-4 hours up and down, and you can walk 1400 steps, a combination of path and Sherpa stairs.

Hear about the history of this mountain trail where they used horses and a legend from the Viking Age in the audioguide! The Midsundtrappene Bløkallen was built by Midsund IL in 2018. The stones are local, and the stairs protect the mountain in a sustainable way.

Bløkallen is one of the four Midsundtrappene, on Otrøya and Midøya island. They are all build by sherpas from Nepal and are an impressive construction that will be enjoyed for hundreds of years.

Rørsethornet 659 masl - Norway's longest continuous stone staircase.
Digergubben 527 masl - straight up from Midsund center, can also be combined with Midsundhornet 483 masl.
Bløkallen 522 masl - perhaps the nicest trip along the old Kløvstien? Tour start on Midøya.
Aksla & Akslahornet - the shortest trip to the viewpoint Aksla, challenging on to Akslahornet.
