Trollheimsporten Tourist Center

About 13 km west of Oppdal, at the entrance to Trollheimen, lies Trollheimsporten Tourist Center. Both tourists and locals come here to participate in events and activities all year round.

The tourist center is a popular destination in all seasons, as it is a bustling hub of tourist activity with close access to mountains and unspoiled nature. Here, you can enjoy late summer evenings and camping life in the heart of the mountains, and dance on the tourist center's outdoor area, in front of the Trollheimen stage.

Trollheimsporten Tourist Center offers accommodation in cabins, a campsite, a café and pub with all amenities, a kiosk, a TV room with a pool table, a sauna and solarium, a grill hut, and a large playground with two in-ground trampolines. Additionally, the center's pub hosts concerts and other activities throughout the year. At the café, you can enjoy the dish of the day several days a week, a taco buffet on Fridays, and a pizza buffet on Saturdays.

In total, Trollheimsporten Tourist Center has over 200 pitches with electrical hookups for caravans and motorhomes, of which 150 are permanent seasonal pitches. There are also 3 rental cabins without toilet and shower facilities, as well as a 5-person cabin with all amenities. The site includes 2 different sanitary facilities, 2 chemical toilets, 2 laundry rooms with washing machines, dryers, and drying cabinets, its own diesel facility, and free internet access for all guests.

Trollheimsporten Tourist Center also offers rental of mini-machines and trailers.
