"Anton Hultquist Trio from Sweden, a young and driven power trio with a heart for groovy, energetic blues, which also draws inspiration from soft rock and modern influences. Their sound carries the expressive spirit of the blues rock tradition with a touch of the energy that Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton contributed. In 2024 they won the Swedish Blues Challenge, which led them to participate in the European Blues Challenge 2025 in Split together with the blues elite in Europe.
They have also been nominated for "Band of the Year" and "Live Band of the Year" on the Swedish blues scene and won the 2025 Åmål Blues Junior Prize after the successes of recent years. See them in Trondheim on May 2nd. DON'T MISS THIS!!"
