When Benedicte Maurseth released the album Hárr (Hubro Records) in 2022, the visionary and internationally acclaimed Hardanger fiddle player was praised for creating a masterpiece. The album was awarded the Nordic Music Prize and was named one of the ten best folk music albums in the world by The Guardian. In 2025, the follow-up Mirra was released – this time with the wild reindeer near Maurseth’s home region by Hardangervidda taking the solo role.
