Inferno Metal Festival

The Inferno Metal Festival has gathered metal fans from all over the world for a music festival in the heart of the Black Metal capital since 2001.

The festival consists of about 50 concerts spread out over four days. These are all within the extreme metal genre, such as black metal, death metal, thrash metal, doom metal and more.

The festival also gathers the music industry at the Inferno Music Conference, which includes several discussion panels, social events and instrument clinics.

Regular features during the festival include the Tattoo Fair, art exhibitions, and autograph signings with iconic names from the metal scene. In addition, attendees can sign up for a range of mood-setting activities – from guided Black Metal tours to exclusive film screenings, forest hikes in authentic Norwegian nature, and Munch-themed excursions. The activities may vary slightly from year to year, but each edition brings new experiences that amplify the festival atmosphere.
