Hans-Ola Ericsson is a remarkably versatile musician whose career as a concert organist has taken him to prestigious stages across the globe. His repertoire is both expansive and distinctive, with a strong emphasis on 20th-century and contemporary music, alongside Baroque masterpieces - deeply rooted in the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, which form a central pillar of his artistic identity.
The Cross Church (Korskirken) and its Hollenbach organ from 1892 have been newly restored. This summer's organ festival offers the rare chance to experience a restoration of the highest calibre, embracing both church and instrument alike. The organ itself is unique: it is the largest surviving organ ever built by Hollenbach.
