Puppy training
The training toward becoming a sled dog starts already when they are puppies. We start socializing them at about 4 weeks old, and training them from 6 weeks, till about 6-7 months, when they can start to run with the dog team.
Join us for one of our favourite activities, puppy training! We will take the puppies for a walk in the forest nearby, or in our big play yard. Admire their enthusiasm and joy as they explore the big world ahead of them.
We will start up in the dog yard, where you can meet the rest of the pack, before we take out the puppies. The length and area of the trip will be adapted to the guests, and the age of the puppies. We are out for about 1,5-2 hours. We will make a fire and enjoy some snack. Our experienced guide will tell you about the life of the puppies, what they can expect, and how it is like to live, train and mush with a pack of
Siberian Huskies.
What to bring: Good shoes and clothes that can take some puppie play
