Using the wind as your propulsion, you can sail through your own food platter and experience the archipelago by sailboat. You'll sail from place to place, playing as much as possible along the way. Combine sailing with hiking, diving, surfing, skiing, festivals, and much more. Play in the wind, water, fjords, the archipelago, and the mountain heights.
Island Hopping & Festival Sailing
Join us to sail from island to island, en route to the magical Trænafestivalen. On the journey, you'll climb one (or more) of the Seven Sisters mountains, and participate in the annual Træna Ocean Race out to Træna. Throughout, you'll bathe in the midnight sun and a fantastic summer light. The trip concludes with island magic and music at Norway's best festival.
Sea- and Mountain Sport Week
Experience Northern Norway from high and low, with exciting activities and varied challenges. Start your adventure at the vibrant Trænafestivalen, before heading north towards Lofoten. Join challenging summit hikes on Helgelandsbukken, Svartisen, and Rødøyløva. You'll cross the mysterious Vestfjorden before reaching the spectacular Lofotwall. In Lofoten, await mountain hikes, exploration of idyllic beaches, and insights into local culture.
Other Sailing Courses and Trips
Ski & Sail is one of our most popular trips. With a boat, we have unique access to the best skiing mountains; it’s easy to move from place to place and choose mountains and landing spots based on weather and conditions. We visit a new location and a new mountain peak every day.
On our expeditions, we sail further and in tougher waters than many of our other trips. We cross the Barents Sea, sail around Svalbard, and make voyages to Greenland and Iceland.

SeilNorge was born in Norway’s most thrilling playground; the Helgeland coast! In the archipelago around Ylvingen in the Vega Islands, five entrepreneurs decided they wanted to share this with more people, for the love of sailing. Ylvingen, the small island that all of Norway came to know through the NRK series "Himmelblå," is SeilNorge’s home base and the perfect starting point for island hopping in Helgeland.
