1. Museo SKREI
En junio de 2026 se inaugurará el espectacular e innovador nuevo museo Otolith en Storvågan, Kabelvåg, en el corazón de las Lofoten.
Formará parte del centro SKREI de conocimiento y experiencias, que también incluye el museo de Lofoten, la galería Espolin y el acuario de Lofoten.
Otolith cuenta la tradición de la pesca en las Lofoten y destaca la enorme importancia del skrei, el bacalao del Ártico nororiental que ha marcado la historia de Noruega.
2. Ytri Island Retreat en Træna

El fiordo de Geiranger inauguró una nueva era el 1 de enero de 2026: los pequeños barcos de pasajeros en los fiordos declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad ahora deben ser cero emisiones.
Embárcate en un crucero eléctrico por el fiordo, completamente silencioso, a bordo del elegante catamarán híbrido noruego Geirangerfjord 3de Geiranger Fjordservice.
Cubrirá la ruta Ålesund-Geiranger, ofrecerá cruceros por el fiordo de Geiranger y estará disponible para tours privados.
A partir de 2032, la normativa de cero emisiones se aplicará a todos los barcos de pasajeros.

En noviembre de 2025, el Havila Coastal Express demostró que es posible recorrer toda la costa entre Bergen y Kirkenes con bajas emisiones.
El Havila Polaris completó todo el recorrido usando biogás licuado. Según cálculos preliminares, gracias al uso de biogás y a los sistemas de baterías del barco, las emisiones de CO₂ se pueden reducir casi un 92 %.
6. Pasa la noche con linces

Through a series of critically acclaimed albums – from Easter with Because the Night to Dream of Life and the protest anthem People Have the Power – Smith has combined strong lyrics with raw and honest rock. In parallel, she has distinguished herself as an award-winning author, including with the book Just Kids, and has received numerous awards for her artistic work. Through her music, she creates a sanctuary for overthinking and highly sensitive souls, offering a safe space to feel, reflect and heal. amaida.'s heartfelt melodies and lyrics tackle the complexities of human emotions, inviting listeners to embrace their vulnerability and find solace in the music. Audiences have drawn parallels between amaida.s sound and artists like Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Jazmine Sullivan and Yebba. Add a little emotional turbulence in a familiar Gen Z style and you have amaida. The 23-year-old from Trøndelag made an impression at last year's Vill Vill Vest, her first festival, where she received a 10/10 from Musikknyheter. They predicted that she would soon take to bigger stages, wrote that "it's not easy to see what amaida. lacks as an artist" and encouraged record labels to be the one who "runs the fastest with a pen in hand". The debut single "the dark side of the moon", released in April 2025, was described by Pulsmagasinet as "a debut that smells like stardust", and was recommended on NRK P3 Urørt. Her music is based on the intimate and everyday, and conveys relationships and emotions with honesty and presence. In 2025 she debuted with the album Jeg hadde elsket å elske deg, recorded together with her acoustic guitar trio. The album contains both the gentle and the more insistent expression, and shows the breadth of Skagemo's songwriting. Since the release, she has played concerts and festivals all over the country, establishing herself as a strong communicator on stage. At the same time, she is now working on a new project, which will be recorded this summer. Here, she explores new aspects of her musical expression, while continuing the lyrical focus that characterizes her. At the concerts, the audience gets to experience both new and previous material, tied together by stories about inspiration, process and the life behind the songs. Welcome to Sarpsborg Viking Festival 2026 in Landeparken, 17–19 July 2026! Join us as several hundred Vikings from Norway and Europe move into Landeparken and recreate the life and atmosphere of Viking Age Borg as it was 1,000 years ago! For the 13th time, Olavsdagene is organising a Viking market in Landeparken in collaboration with the Viking group Vinir. Visitors will get to taste, smell, hear and feel what life in Borg was like at the time when Olav Haraldsson came sailing up the river and settled by the mighty waterfall. At the Viking market, you can experience how the Vikings lived. In the different Viking tents, traditional crafts are demonstrated and handmade goods are sold. Here you can watch the blacksmith at work, taste Viking food and try a range of activities such as archery, axe throwing, a climbing park, a treasure hunt and much more! Throughout the Viking market, there will be an exciting programme with musical performances, storytelling sessions, Viking games and battle shows at scheduled times. From the very first note at what was then called the Arendal Jazz and Blues Festival to today’s Canal Street as we know it—with concerts at Arendal Cemetery, Strømsbo Farm, Teaterplassen, Poppes Plass, Sam Eydes Plass, the Cultural Center, and Barnestreet at Kanalplassen—Canal Street has been a meeting place for everything we love about summer in Southern Norway. Even though jazz traditionally has been well represented, most genres are presented here. They have achieved numerous awards, been awarded gold and platinum trophies, and had the honor of playing at hundreds of sold-out events. The band travels around with a show that stands out from the crowd and gives the audience a unique concert experience. Behind vocalist and songwriter Frode Måkestad, stands a number of renowned Norwegian musicians - none other than: Tore Mæhle (Bass), Frode Andreassen (Drums), Dag Wolf (Steel guitar), Jan Ove Johansen (Guitar) and Nikolai Storevik (Fiddle). The band focuses on genuine playing pleasure and musical quality. Playback and tracks are blasphemy in church for this group. From 22 to 25 July 2026, Vågen in Stavanger will be filled with sailing ships, happy young people, concerts, exhibitions and activities for young and old alike. Everything is free – and everyone is invited to join in! The Tall Ships Races are annual international regattas that aim to develop and educate young people aged 15-25 through sailing training, regardless of nationality, culture, religion, gender or social background. At least half of the crew must be in this age group. The Tall Ships events are considered Europe's largest free family event. In 2026, the cities of Aarhus, Harlingen, Antwerp, Stavanger and Aalborg will be host ports in collaboration with the international sailing training organisation Sail Training International.

We will take advantage of this beautiful time of year to offer concerts on the Nidaros Cathedral's amazing organs. During the summer, five organists from Spain, Germany, Sweden, Belgium and Japan will be guests at Nidaros Cathedral. This evening, David Kiefer from Germany will give a concert. The 28-year-old church musician has been named Young Organist of the Year 2026 by the European Cities of Historical Organs. He has studied church music, organ and organ improvisation. From 2024 to 2025, Kiefer was assistant organist at Cologne Cathedral. Since 2024, he has taught organ and organ improvisation at the Musikhochschule Freiburg. Kiefer has given concerts in, among others, St. Eustache in Paris, Sainte Chapelle de Versailles, St. Wenzel Naumburg, Stiftskirche Stuttgart, Schlosskirche Bayreuth, the Vaison-la-Romaine festival, Ulm Münster, Magdeburger Dom, Essener Dom, Freiburger Münster and Cologne Cathedral. The single "Ember", inspired by his daughter Vilja, was the start of the road to the new album. The song is about taking charge of one's own life, facing challenges and always searching for the next step.
